We might have met up with a lot of people throughout our life, yet people leave and life still goes on as what it used to be. The person that I admire the most is none other than my mother. I admire her the most as she possesses most of the qualities that we should have in order to success in our life.
I think one of the most endearing qualities she possesses is genuineness. When you meet a genuine person, they tend to look you directly in the eye and many times they touch you in order to connect. That’s how she communicates with others. She doesn’t have the average walls up that many people have in life. She seems to touch everyone in a way where one can immediately connect with her and for sure she has no false pretenses. She crosses all barriers and has the ability to connect with others and radiates great empathy to others. It’s almost like she has an additional sense. She never pretended to be perfect or know all the answers but one thing is for sure anything she tells you is coming straight from the heart.
She has been very patient with me and supports me in everything I do. She has done a lot to boost my self-confidence and self-esteem. She does not scold whenever I fail in something, instead she will console me and make me feel better by telling me stories about her own failures and achievements throughout life. She also makes all kinds of sacrifices, big and small for the sake of her children. She has always been my source of inspiration and pillar of strength.
My mom is the one that is always there, the person I can count on, the one that will never turn her back on me. The one that supports, helps, hug, kisses, gives me confidence, comforts, listens, makes me laugh, cheers me up and wipes my tears. She will definitely be the one that I always admire and love the most.
Everyone has a person who is the best example for him. You respect and like this person and want to follow her. You listen to her advice and believe that her wisdom can help you cope with your problems. Obviously, everyone has a different person of this kind. Some people admire their parents. Others admire some famous politicians, artists, musicians, actors or scientists. Naturally, everyone appreciates the definite set of qualities of their idols. You can admire Albert Einstein for his creativity and knowledge. You can respect Winston Churchill for his wisdom and sharp mind. I am going to say a few words about my grandmother. Although she is not a famous politician, she has taught me a lot.

My granny lives in London. When a child I spent the entire month at her place. I suppose the absolute number of children are brought up by their grandparents. I was not an exception. I enjoyed staying at my granny’s and listening to her memories and jokes. Frankly speaking, I have learnt about life a lot due to her stories and pieces of advice. I should say I have learnt more information from her than from my parents. My granny is a very conservative woman. When you enter her house, you will see a big collection of old dolls and china figures of animals. She dislikes brand new furniture and any changes of her interior. She lives in her own ‘dollhouse’, which has its originality and charm. When I was little, her house looked very mysterious and fairy. I enjoyed walking about the house and discovering her old and precious items. I should say that I like this trait of her character. She has taught me to collect things and appreciate them. When I saw her collections, I wanted to make my own collection of some sophisticated items. It is very interesting that she does not collect rubbish and random old things. She has her own taste and interests.
She has always told me stories about her own childhood and shared her impressions about World War 2. I have never been able to imagine my granny to be a little girl. Her stories about her parents and grandparents get strattera were extremely interesting, because they were the representatives of a completely different epoch. I suppose people should communicate with their grandparents all the time in order to obtain their valuable knowledge about the previous decades. You will never read about such interesting and slight moments in a book. It is better to hear about them from the person who has experienced these events on her own skin.
My granny told me about the basic moral values and their importance for the life in the human society. Her wisdom is very deep and simple at the same time. For example, she has always told me to be hardworking and ambitious. On the other hand, I should not sacrifice my family and friends for my career. She said that work is not the most important thing in the world. She told me about true friendship and the value of friendship for people. She brought up my aesthetic feelings and helped me see the beauty of the surrounding world. My grandmother encouraged my drawing practice and always stood for me when my parents were angry with me. In brief, she has always been my close friend.
Unfortunately, with the run of time, we have practically lost our connection, because I am very busy at college and work. Nevertheless, I try to visit her at least once a month. Her ideas and pieces of advice are still relevant and useful to me.
In conclusion, I should say that I appreciate my granny a lot, because she has taught me how to live in the human society. I want to say that we should be proud that we have such close people who help us improve ourselves and become better.
